Kaali Tavern offers genuine and delicious local food on the island of Saaremaa. We are located in the heart of Kaali village, so everyone coming to see the world-famous meteorite crater can easily park right in front of the tavern. It’s easy to step in and enjoy the taste of local food and drinks!
Our summer season will begin soon.
At the moment, Kaali Tavern is closed for daily service as we prepare for the new season. We will reopen again in May, ready to welcome you back with authentic Saaremaa flavors – freshly smoked fish, home-brewed beer, and relaxed moments on our spacious outdoor terrace beside the world-famous Kaali crater.
During autumn and winter, we open by reservation for excursion groups and private events — whether it’s family celebrations, group gatherings, or special occasions, we are happy to host you!

Special offers for groups
The tavern of KAALI is a popular stopover for big groups’, travel groups’ and student groups’ lunches and dinners. We offer special menus for groups of ten or more people, for business as well as private events. In order for us to comfortably host you, please submit group orders well in advance.
